Who is Alejandra, aka. Alé?

Where do I even begin to tell my story and what brought me here? It feels a little crazy to dive in now...but here I go. I’m Alejandra—a Sagittarius (aka a fire sign, which makes a lot of sense if you know me personally). I’m recently married, have an amazing Vizsla dog, Zuma, and work in fashion running my own company.

My mom has been a huge inspiration in my life and career. She was a model, worked in the restaurant industry for years in NYC, and now she’s her own boss, running a project management company that handles everything for homes; from build to interior design to project management. She’s the ultimate entrepreneur, and I’ve followed in her footsteps to say the least.

Why Alé, and why now?

Why now, you may ask? At age 30? It might seem crazy to dive in headfirst, but here I am. I’ve been working for myself for four years now, and I absolutely love it. Of course, there are ups and downs with this type of career, especially in fashion. It’s a world full of intimidation, constant comparisons, self-doubt, and tough days. But then its also filled with inspiration, wonder, color, and passion.

Even though I may seem confident, it hasn’t always felt that way. This past year, I decided to take risks and embrace my true self, no matter the judgment. I’ve learned that the people who truly support you and stand in your corner are the ones worth keeping close. I’m realizing this more than ever.

I’ve had friends, some I considered close - who’ve shown their true colors. I have a list of dreams, goals, and ambitions that I hold close to my heart. The people who cheer me on when I share those deep goals and dreams, are the ones I know to keep close to my heart, and in my life.

So…why this, and why now? Because I’m ready to rip off the band aid. I’m the most confident I’ve ever been, and I want to be a role model for my sisters and brother, who deserve to feel that same self-confidence. My husband, parents, siblings, and best friends are my biggest supporters. All I can do is follow my dreams and go for it.

My Community

I want to build a community of like-minded people - women, men, and anyone who loves all things fashion, entrepreneurship, beauty, and health. I envision this as a place where people feel safe to be vulnerable, where we can lift each other up, provide feedback, share ideas, and network.
